About Hwange National Park
Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's largest game reserve, spanning 14,650 square kilometers of diverse wildlife habitat. The park is famous for its large elephant population (over 40,000) and incredible wildlife diversity including lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, and over 400 bird species. The park offers exceptional game viewing year-round, with the dry season (August to October) providing the best wildlife concentrations around waterholes.
