About Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders), is one of the most spectacular natural wonders on Earth. The falls are formed as the full width of the mighty Zambezi River plummets into a 108-meter high cleft, producing a thundering cascade and permanent spray that can be seen from over 20 kilometers away. The area offers adventure activities including white-water rafting, bungee jumping, helicopter flights, and wildlife viewing in the surrounding national parks.
